Motorola gp68 battery
If you need the radio to work in the 403-433 MHz sub band and the other modules are in that band you are all set. You can determine this if you open the radio and look for model numbers on the modules which might read "71A" which would be an NLE-9471A a 403-433 MHz 5 Watt module. I am most familiar with SABER UHF models and can tell you that a lot of the UHF models which originated in federal govt surplus are built in the 403-433 MHz sub band (Range 1). The model number will only tell you whether VHF or UHF but not which sub-band. The SABER IR for example could be built to any of three frequency sub-bands in the VHF or UHF spectrum. Motorola model numbers for earlier products don't tell the story as to the exact frequency band that your radio is built to. Wait a few moments for that site page to refresh from the flag page.

Commercial, Professional Radio and Personal RadioĬlick to expand. You might check the Motorola model specific pages at Welcome to Repeater Builder Dot Com for model number and frequency sub band RF module guidance. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola). The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming.
